Job Summary:

Strive Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our Warehouse and Transport operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our busy operations teams across both Warehouse and Transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Operations Excellence: Oversee the delivery of all elements of the Operations in line with plan, across both Warehouse and Transport.
  • Lead Depot Management Team: Manage the depot management team to drive operational efficiencies, service excellence, and productivity in order to constantly improve depot performance.
  • Commercial Operations: Manage the commercial operation of the depot to ensure the profit budget target is met or exceeded.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all H&S, Legal Compliance of the depot is adhered to.
  • Accreditation: Ensure that the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 accreditation is fully supported at site level.

Requirements:

  • Operations Experience: From a similar Operation, you will have successfully managed and led Warehouse and Transport operations within a FMCG environment.
  • Commercial Acumen: Commercially astute, you will have a sharp eye for optimization of costs as well as a track record in customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Well-versed in the management of all core Operational and Logistics KPIs, you will be passionate about Customer Service and the delivery of excellent service.
  • Leadership: Evidence of an effective track record of people management and leadership.
