Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
Requirements
  • A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of service users.
  • Knowledge of autism and learning disabilities, with a commitment to person-centered support.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.00, plus benefits.
  • Overtime paid over 37.5 contracted hours.
  • A comprehensive induction program, including training and support to ensure your success in the role.
