A dynamic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adult Care Caseworker to join a respected charity in London. As a member of their team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to unpaid adult carers.

With a focus on delivering exceptional service, our client requires an enthusiastic and empathetic individual who can build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders alike. The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT, organisational, and administrative skills, as well as knowledge of issues affecting unpaid carers and relevant legislation.

This is a full-time, temporary position (37.5 hours per week) with an estimated salary of £15+ per hour. The hybrid working arrangement allows for a healthy work-life balance, while still maintaining the ability to collaborate with colleagues and respond to client needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive carer assessments, identifying areas of need and developing tailored support plans
  • Collaborate with carers to secure financial support through applications for Carers Personal Budgets
  • Offer emotional and practical support during times of crisis, providing reassurance and guidance
  • Promote carer support groups and events, fostering a sense of community among carers
  • Nurture partnerships with local authorities, NHS bodies, and organisations to amplify awareness of carers' needs
  • Maintain accurate records on Carers Network and Local Authority databases
  • Prepare reports for management and external funding bodies, highlighting programme successes
