Austin Fraser is a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) school that supports young people aged 11-16 with various needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, and complex learning needs.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Youth Worker to join our team. This role requires a passionate individual who is committed to supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of our students.

  1. Provide one-to-one or group support to students with diverse needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
What We're Looking For
  1. Experience working with children or young people with SEN or SEMH needs is essential.
  2. A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles is required.
  3. Relevant qualifications in youth work, education, or health and social care are desirable but not essential.
  4. A competitive salary of around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in our organization.
