Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Specialist to join our team at GSL Education - Manchester. As a key member of our staff, you will provide general support across year groups, focusing on working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This role involves supporting students with Autism and challenging behaviors, providing general assistance to students, and leading group interventions. You will work closely with our SEN team to provide tailored support to our students.
About the Role
This is a full-time position available to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be able to make a significant contribution to the learning environment of our students. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Salary and Benefits
A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum is offered, along with 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 7% statutory holiday pay.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with children with SEN, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
