We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our Community Support team as a Support Practitioner. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with various support needs within their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and assist individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication, and managing personal finances.
- Encourage and support individuals in their hobbies and interests, such as karaoke, arts and crafts, live music, and swimming.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- A caring attitude and a positive approach to learning.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals and teams.
- A full manual driving licence and the ability to drive a mobility car.
- Confidence in the use of computers and willingness to learn new skills.
