Financial Operations Coordinator

Covetrus is a global animal health technology and services company dedicated to advancing the world of veterinary medicine. We are seeking a Financial Operations Coordinator to join our finance team in the Edinburgh office on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating sales invoices and customer credit notes using approved processes
  • Setting up and maintaining customer accounts and supplier accounts
  • Generating monthly customer statements and aged debtors' reports
  • Reconciling corporate accounts and individual customer accounts
  • Processing bank transactions daily with high accuracy
  • Creating journal entries for accounting corrections
  • Processing supplier invoices and staff expenses
  • Preparing bi-monthly payment runs for approval and paying approved payment runs through the banks
  • Completing ad hoc payments as required
  • Answering queries from suppliers and reconciling supplier statements

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with audit requirements
  • Supporting the Management Accountant with reporting requests
