Job Description

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network architectures, including VMware and NSX, to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed designs, documentation, and technical specifications for network systems and services.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our infrastructure and services.
Requirements:
  • Fundamental knowledge of system-level design, network principles, and WAN technologies.
  • Experience with VMware, NSX, Microsoft Server Family, and Microsoft SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Desirable skills include experience with SIP technologies, WebRTC, Azure, Web Map Services, and REST API interfaces.
