Job Description

Job Summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team. As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex system architectures, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our hosted services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement system architectures, including network and infrastructure components, to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, technical notes, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of system-level design principles and network architecture.
  • Experience with VMware and NSX, Microsoft Server Family, and Microsoft SQL.
  • Knowledge of network principles, WAN technologies, routing, and global load balancing.
  • Experience with SIP technologies, including WebRTC, and REST API interfaces.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Travel Requirements

25-50% travel required, with occasional relocation opportunities.
