Job Summary

The Digital Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the warehouse management systems that fulfill Boots.com orders, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are achieved. This role will involve monitoring daily workload progress, taking necessary actions to ensure timely completion, and collaborating with departmental managers to control and highlight requirements for current and future workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide shift management of warehouse management systems to ensure efficient order fulfillment and achievement of KPIs and SLAs

• Manage and lead a specialist team of Assistant Control Managers, motivating them to achieve their best performance

• Analyze issues post-resolution to accurately conclude the root cause and develop a clear action plan for resolution, documenting issues and their resolution accurately and sharing best practices with other Control Room Managers

• Work with departmental managers, planning manager, and Knapp engineering managers to control and highlight requirements for current and future workloads

• Manage on-site severity 1 issues with Boots.com systems, owning communications to senior stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience managing a technical team, IT equipment, and resolving system-related problems

• Experience of writing/developing management reports, working with automated warehouse systems, and controlling use and repairs of IT equipment

• Exposure to project-based work, warehouse processes, and flows, and extensive operational and people management skills

• A self-starter who can be an ambassador for the company and functional culture, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach, resolving conflicts, maintaining relationships, and influencing performance
