Job Title: Warehouse Control Manager

The Warehouse Control Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse management systems, fulfilling Boots.com orders, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Assistant Control Managers, analyzing issues to determine root causes, and developing action plans for resolution. They will also work closely with departmental managers, planning managers, and engineering managers to control and highlight workload requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide shift management of warehouse management systems to ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved

• Manage, lead, and motivate a specialist team of Assistant Control Managers

• Analyze issues to determine root causes and develop action plans for resolution

• Work with departmental managers, planning managers, and engineering managers to control and highlight workload requirements

Requirements:

• Experience managing a technical team, IT equipment, and resolving system-related problems

• Experience of writing management reports, working with automated warehouse systems, and controlling the use and repair of IT equipment

• Exposure to project-based work, warehouse processes, and flows, and extensive operational and people management skills

• A self-starter who can be an ambassador for the company and functional culture
