About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Relief Bank Support Coach to join our team at Social Interest Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and care to individuals who are marginalized and in need of rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with individuals who have complex backgrounds, including ex-offenders, mental health issues, and substance misuse. You will provide personalized support and guidance to help individuals achieve their goals and overcome challenges.

As a Relief Bank Support Coach, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective support plans that address the unique needs of each individual. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on progress to stakeholders.

About You

We are seeking an individual who has experience working with vulnerable populations and has a strong understanding of the social care sector. You will be confident in your ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will also have a strong understanding of key legislation and policies related to social care, housing, and mental health. Additionally, you will have experience working with IT systems and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

What We Would Like
  • Experience working with different agencies and organizations and understanding the multi-disciplinary approach.
  • Appropriate professional qualification, such as an NVQ or Diploma in Community Justice or Psychology.
  • Experience providing housing support and practical assistance in a residential or outreach support role.
