About the Role
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our Talking Therapies team in Preston. As a member of our dynamic team, you will work with adults experiencing common mental health problems, providing high-quality CBT and promoting positive change.
With a strong focus on delivering evidence-based therapies, you will work autonomously, using your expertise to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Your experience in managing risk and safeguarding concerns will be invaluable in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
The ideal candidate will possess a formally recognized postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and have significant experience in delivering specialist therapy services. You will be confident in working within professional guidelines and frameworks, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Responsibilities
- To provide high-quality CBT to adults with common mental health problems, adhering to NICE guidelines and key performance indicators.
- To work autonomously, utilizing your clinical expertise to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- To provide clinical supervision and mentoring to other therapists and trainees, promoting professional development and growth.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring high-quality care for our clients.
