Job Overview

As a Care Specialist with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and provide personalized support to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend service reviews to ensure our Care Professionals are practicing the current standards of care delivery and maintaining high standards for our CQC rating.
  • Ensure that clients are happy and that our values of fairness, reliability, honesty, support, and happiness are met.
  • Provide companionship and stimulation to clients through daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments and social outings.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and their families, understanding their needs and preferences.

Requirements

  • Experience in care, ideally with an NVQ2 & 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Must be a driver with a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
