Job Title: Senior Leasing Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Leasing Manager to join our Global Real Estate team at Gymshark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all real estate leasing activities related to new store openings and negotiations on existing leases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lease process for new store openings, from site selection, negotiation, to final lease execution.
  • Negotiate lease renewals and modifications for existing leases, ensuring optimal terms for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties, including landlords, legal teams, and brokers, to facilitate smooth leasing processes.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new store locations and stay informed about retail real estate trends.
  • Review and analyse lease documents and financial reports to ensure alignment with company goals and legal compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property managers, and real estate brokers.
  • Work closely with the store development team to ensure new store openings align with lease commencement dates.
  • Proactively identify and resolve lease-related issues that could impact store operations.
  • Ensure all leasing activities align with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate leasing, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful lease negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of real estate contracts, financial terms, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in using real estate management software tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse market data and make informed decisions.
