Gregory Walker Associates Ltd is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company in Shropshire to recruit an experienced HR professional. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the workforce, shaping HR strategy, and fostering a positive workplace culture.


The Role



  • As HR Manager, you will work closely with senior management to drive HR initiatives and provide comprehensive support across all HR functions.
  • You will oversee recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, ensuring that HR policies are aligned with business goals.
  • Your key responsibilities will include leading recruitment efforts, providing guidance and support on employee relations and performance management, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, driving employee engagement initiatives, developing and implementing HR policies, and overseeing training and development programs.

About You


To succeed in this role, you will need to be a confident HR professional with experience within the manufacturing or FMCG sector. You should be adaptable, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Key Requirements



  • Previous experience as an HR Manager or HR Advisor in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • CIPD qualification (preferred but not essential).
