Personnel Officer

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records of all staff members.
- Creating a software-based HR system to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Reviewing and updating HR-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law.
- Supporting recruitment duties, including writing job profiles, screening CVs, and assisting with interviews.
- Managing payroll in collaboration with the Accounts department.
- Providing guidance to the Director on HR-related issues or concerns.
- Developing and improving the HR function within the business.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking database systems to optimize recruitment processes.
- In-depth knowledge of human resources and employment law to ensure compliance.
- A relevant qualification in HR or Personnel is required for this role.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or Above or Equivalent are essential qualifications.
Requirements:

- Relevant experience in HR administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking database systems.
- In-depth knowledge of human resources and employment law.
- A relevant qualification in HR or Personnel.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or Above or Equivalent.
