Optometrist in Glaucoma Service

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated optometrist to join our Glaucoma Service team in Bristol Eye Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-facing glaucoma clinics for routine and complex case mixes
- Conduct new patient clinics and virtual clinic reviews
- Develop and implement selective laser trabeculoplasty
- Contribute to team development and clinical service delivery through high-quality supervision and teaching
- Participate in audit and clinical governance activities
We are looking for an optometrist with a strong commitment to professional and personal development, and a passion for complex clinical work and service innovation. You will have a high level of clinical experience in glaucoma, enabling you to manage a high-volume complex caseload. Your highly developed specialist knowledge will have been evidenced by holding the College of Optometrists Diploma in Glaucoma.
