We are seeking an experienced optometrist to join our Glaucoma Service team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a high-volume complex caseload in the glaucoma service
- Deliver patient-facing glaucoma clinics for routine and complex case mixes
- Contribute to team development and clinical service delivery through high-quality supervision and teaching
- Active input into audit and clinical governance
We are looking for an optometrist with a strong commitment to professional and personal development, and a passion for complex clinical work and service innovation. You will have a high level of clinical experience in glaucoma, evidenced by holding the College of Optometrists Diploma in Glaucoma.
You will be able to work autonomously as well as under supervision, and will be fully engaged with the department, contributing to team development and clinical service delivery.
