Optometrist (Permanent, Part-Time) - Glaucoma Service

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated optometrist to join our Glaucoma Service team at Bristol Eye Hospital.
About the RoleThis is a permanent part-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment, providing ophthalmic clinical management to patients in Bristol, Weston, and across the South West of England.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with glaucoma and other complex eye conditions
- Work autonomously and under supervision, as required
- Contribute to team development and clinical service delivery through teaching, supervision, and audit
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- Registration with the General Optical Council
- BSc Hons Optometry or equivalent
- Professional post-graduate specialist qualification(s) at masters level or higher, relevant to job plan
- GOC Speciality Registration in Independent Prescribing
