About the Role

We are seeking a Patient Transport Coordinator to join our team at Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling patient transport requests to ambulance resources on the day of travel, working with the aid of a computerised scheduling system.

The role requires you to work to agreed objectives, assisting with the delivery of contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will have experience of working in a patient/customer focused environment and understanding of performance standards and customer care.

As a Patient Transport Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring that patients receive the right response to their care needs as quickly as possible.

Main Responsibilities
  • Scheduling patient transport requests to ambulance resources
  • Working with a computerised scheduling system
  • Assisting with the delivery of KPIs

We offer a competitive salary of £24,900 - £30,605 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position based in West Yorkshire.
