About the Role

We are seeking a talented Community Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical pharmacy services that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Clinical Pharmacy Services: Provide expert advice and guidance on community pharmacy-related medication management, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide Education and Training: Deliver educational programs to multidisciplinary colleagues and patient/carer groups on relevant subject areas, including community pharmacy-related topics.
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and reducing medication errors.
  • Advise on Medication Management: Provide expert advice on medication management, including prescribing, dispensing, and monitoring of medications.

Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
