About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Social Worker to join our Learning Disability Team as a Practice Lead. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload and providing leadership and guidance to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, including conducting Care Act Assessments and reviews
  • Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues, including supervision and support
  • Develop and implement best practice in social work, including Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest Decisions
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including health and mental health colleagues

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Experience in working with adults with learning disabilities
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
