About the Role

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing comprehensive medical support across male medium and low secure wards.
  • Conducting clinical assessments, formulating treatment plans, and addressing physical health concerns in collaboration with the physical health team and GP.
  • Ensuring effective communication and handovers to colleagues for seamless patient care.
  • Seeking additional information from other professionals and family members to inform patient care decisions.
  • Preparing discharge documentation, reports, and s62 forms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Supporting the Consultant in preparing CPA, Tribunal, and Hospital Managers' hearing reports.
  • Participating in oral evidence at First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings under the supervision of the Consultant (depending on experience).
  • Engaging in clinical governance activities, including audits, research, and teaching, to contribute to service development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure patients have access to timely and effective medical care.
