The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of professional care experience in the UK healthcare sector, with a proven track record of supporting complex care clients.

A key aspect of this role will be providing person-centred care, working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences. This may involve administering medication, performing oral suctioning, and providing personal care.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Support Worker will also be required to work effectively as part of a team, communicating regularly with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To observe and monitor clients, identifying any clinical intervention requirements and implementing effective solutions.
  • To maintain a fun and engaging environment, encouraging clients to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • To act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their dignity and respect are upheld at all times.
  • To refer to and follow care plans, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered consistently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of professional care experience in a UK healthcare setting.
  • Experience supporting complex care clients.
  • Ability to administer medication and perform PEG care.
  • Fully qualified in first aid and manual handling.
  • Full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.
