Job Title: Assistant Care Manager

BDS (Northern) Limited is recruiting for an Assistant Care Manager for a supported living home in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out assessments of new or existing residents to ensure they have a comprehensive care plan in place.

• Managing and supervising care staff, providing induction, line management, and support to ensure high-quality care.

• Supporting the management team with team management, including recruitment, staff induction, training, and disciplinary procedures.

• Preparing rotas in line with commissioned care hours to ensure efficient care delivery.

• Acting as the responsible person for the safe running of the care service in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Requirements:

• Experience in staff observations, staff 121s, care plan writing, resident assessments, auditing of MAR charts, and log sheets.

• A good understanding of CQC regulations and how to apply them in practice.
