As a Surgical Resident, you will work in two main buildings, connected by an underground corridor, with state-of-the-art facilities performing complex procedures and routine surgery. Our consultants are leaders in their fields, affiliated with leading university hospitals in London, making this a unique opportunity to develop your skills and be part of a forward-thinking team.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, with possibilities for further extension. Our benefits package includes a contributory pension scheme, private medical healthcare, and 33 days' annual leave. You will work with a team of 4 Resident Fellows, providing 24/7 coverage for non-cancer and non-haematology beds, alongside Non-Resident General Fellows. You will cover specific ward areas, ensuring regular reviews of patients.

Your key responsibilities will include working collaboratively with the Clinical Site Team, Modern Matrons, AHPs, and Nursing teams to ensure safe and high-quality care for patients. You will also be responsible for clinical support to relevant Consultants, ensuring daily review of in-patients, documentation, escalation when needed, and supporting discharge planning and notifications.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, time management, and clinical decision-making abilities. Experience working as a core trainee or Specialist Registrar within Medical or Surgical specialities, Full GMC Registration with License to Practice, and MBBS or equivalent medical qualification are required.
