About the Clinical Fellow Role:

  • The clinical fellow will work alongside our experienced consultant surgeons and anaesthetists to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Responsibilities will include assisting in operating theatres, conducting daily ward rounds, and participating in audit and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating theatre first assistant or primary operator under supervision.
  • Daily ward rounds in ITU/HDU and dedicated cardiothoracic wards.
  • General ward work under the supervision of the consultant.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • MRCS/FRCS equivalent or higher qualification.
  • Adequate progression of training in a relevant specialty.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
