Global Account Strategist

As a Global Account Strategist at Palo Alto Networks, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the most significant accounts worldwide. Your primary goal will be to develop and execute a strategic account plan that maximizes revenue generation while efficiently leveraging necessary resources and tools.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Establish yourself as the main point of contact for the account, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy that aligns with our business objectives and drives revenue growth.
- Oversee the day-to-day global sales coverage needs, managing local and regional sales activities to ensure consistent execution.
- Ensure global pricing consistency is established and maintained, ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
- Effectively present and deliver the Palo Alto Networks value proposition, developing compelling proposals and negotiating win-win agreements.
- Establish strong executive-level relationships throughout the organization, leveraging our executive team and partner relationships to drive business growth.
- Maintain accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, ensuring we exceed our annual revenue goals.
- 25% travel, international included.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience selling high-tech hardware/software solutions, preferably in the security and/or networking area.
- 5+ years of experience in a Global Account Executive or equivalent role.
- BS Technical or Business Degree or equivalent military experience required.
- Proven track record of overachievement of revenue goals.
- Comfortable working in a matrix, team environment.
- Represent the ability to build C-level and other meaningful relationships within large organizations.
- Very strong organizational skills with a "Whatever it takes" attitude.
- Strong business acumen with trust and integrity represented at all times.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
