Operating Department Practitioner

We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse with an Anaesthetic Qualification to join our dynamic Gynaecology and Obstetrics Theatre Team at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the theatre management team, and contributing to a supportive multidisciplinary environment. Previous experience in anaesthetics, scrub, or recovery is essential, and the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-standard care as outlined in Theatre Standards and trust guidelines.
- Maintain accurate theatre records, documentation, and care plans.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Communicate regularly with team members, including Consultants, nursing staff, and other specialties.
- Registered Nurse with an Anaesthetic Qualification or Operating Department Practitioner.
- Degree Level Qualification.
We offer a competitive salary range of £38,890 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience, and flexible working opportunities to support the health and wellbeing of our teams.
