Key Responsibilities

As a Senior CAMHS Doctor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing senior medical support to our multidisciplinary teams
  • Delivering high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs
  • Developing links with local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards
  • Supervising junior colleagues and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies

You will also have the opportunity to offer clinical supervision and teaching to core trainees on placement and support peers and the team manager while working on your own initiative.
