Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

The North East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor to join our Intensive Home Treatment & Crisis Assessment Team, part of the Adolescent Tier 4 CAMHS service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical cases, working under the supervision of a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist.
About the Role:
This substantive, full-time post involves working with children and young people with mental health needs across Kent and Medway. You will be responsible for providing guidance and supervision to the team, developing links with local acute trusts, and offering clinical supervision and teaching to core trainees on placement.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate your ability to work as part of a team, provide senior medical support, and have a deep understanding of current developments in mental health care. With at least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training, you should possess mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders.
