Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist

iO Associates, a leading provider of cutting-edge solutions and services in the energy industry, is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join their team in Newcastle. With over 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Nuclear industry, or a relevant engineering background, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation.

The successful candidate will lead risk assessments, recognize potential dangers, and ensure adherence to HSE regulations. They will also be responsible for reviewing process inspection records, providing LDM support, and implementing containment, corrective, and preventive measures. Additionally, they will contribute to the 6S sustainability of the work center and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce CoPQ
  • Review and analyze process inspection records to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide LDM support to departments and work centers
  • Implement containment, corrective, and preventive measures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Contribute to the 6S sustainability of the work center
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
