Sales Development Manager

**Establish a thriving commercial plumbing business at City Plumbing Supplies.**
We are seeking a skilled Sales Development Manager to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service for our commercial (non-residential) sector.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- BUILDING SALES VOLUMES through existing and new trade accounts, increasing footfall and acquiring new customers
- UTILIZING THE PROPOSITION and knowledge to build confidence in our product offering
- MAXIMISING SALES POTENTIAL by identifying opportunities for linked sales or upselling products within the category
- SUPPORTING BRANCH COLLEAGUES to have a better understanding of our Commercial offering, participating in training and upskilling sessions
- EFFECTIVELY MANAGING STOCK required for each project to ensure On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) fulfilment, maximising working capital performance, and minimising risk
- CONTINUING TO BUILD CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS through local events, supporting key customer meetings, and selling Non-Residential & Commercial products
- OWNING NON-RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL BUSINESS PLANS to drive and achieve targets for your branch
The ideal candidate will possess:
- COMMERCIAL (NON-RESIDENTIAL) PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE and ability to give technical understanding to customers
- ABILITY TO PRODUCE AND INTERPRET BASIC FINANCIAL/STATISTICAL INFORMATION
- COMMERCIAL ACUMEN – ABILITY TO DEMONSTRATE UNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO IMPACT THE BOTTOM LINE
