Nursery Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at Bright Horizons First Class Day Nursery and Preschool in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team to deliver exceptional care and education to all children in our care.
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, ensuring the day-to-day running of the nursery and management of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child.
- Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers to support retention and occupancy growth.
- Ensure commercial success of the nursery by maintaining expenditure inline with FTEs and budget KPIs.
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Third in Charge, Room Leader, or Early Years Educator.
- Confident decision maker with experience providing support and leadership to others.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
