Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Blossom Fields. As a key member of our activities team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a diverse range of activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities programme that promotes social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of our residents.
- Collaborate with external agencies and suppliers to source materials and resources for activities.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of activities.
- Communicate effectively with residents, relatives, and staff to promote activities and encourage participation.
Requirements
- At least two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience of working in a care or community setting.
