Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a pioneering recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Mental Health Professional to join their Adult Frontline & Community Team as a full-time employee based in Surrey.
About the RoleThis challenging and rewarding position involves managing a complex caseload of individuals, children, carers, and families who require guidance and support. The successful candidate will be responsible for making confident and effective judgments about risk and accountability, ensuring engagement with fluctuating circumstances and capacities, including hostile situations.
The key responsibilities include:
- Caseload Management: Taking professional responsibility for managing a complex caseload, including assessments, planning, and decision-making.
- Risk Assessment: Demonstrating confident and effective judgment about risk and accountability in decision-making, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.
- Interventions: Using professional judgment to employ a range of interventions, promoting independence, providing support and protection, taking preventative action, and ensuring safety while balancing rights and risks.
- Practice Development: Leading practice development, helping promote and sustain a learning culture, mentoring less experienced staff, and delivering formal professional reflective supervision.
- Safeguarding: Undertaking assessment and planning for safeguarding in more complex cases, supporting colleagues with safeguarding skills, and maintaining up-to-date case work records on the database.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
