As a Director of Business and Legal Operations, you'll play a critical role in shaping our strategic payments platform. Your expertise will help us navigate complex risk and operational processes, ensuring seamless execution and maximum ROI for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional risk teams to identify and mitigate key considerations in our Payfac audit program.
  2. Develop detailed summaries of audit findings, issues, and mitigants to risks, ensuring accurate and actionable insights.
  3. Work closely with Account Managers to deliver shadow underwriting results and monitor corrective actions throughout the audit process.
  4. Evaluate and concur on Payment Facilitators' requests for additional restricted lines of business or sub-merchant approvals.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of merchant service work experience related to merchant underwriting or equivalent underwriting work.
  • Familiarity with the merchant processing industry, particularly risk and operational processes.
  • Expert business model assessment and identification of credit risk exposure.
  • Deep knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit exposure analysis.
  • General knowledge of other risk disciplines, including Financial Crimes Compliance, Schemes Compliance, Fraud & Risk Monitoring, Credit Portfolio Management, and Legal & Regulatory.
  • Ability to navigate complex, project-based work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience required.
