Job Title: Senior Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our Paediatric Critical Care Team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and young people requiring critical care. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes and contribute to the development of the team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Paediatric Critical Care Unit
  • Lead and develop the nursing team to ensure high standards of care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • NMC registration as a Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN)
  • Two years' experience in paediatric critical care
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
