Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer, Analyst Systems to join our team. This is a hybrid role that requires you to work at least 2 days a week in our Cambridge office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all tools and platforms used by the Analyst teams in their workflows.
  • Optimize web applications, write clean code, integrate user-focused elements, and ensure compatibility across browsers.
  • Develop detailed specifications, test throughout the product cycle, and strive for top-notch solutions.
  • Create internal features, implement updates, and enhance documentation.

About You:

  • You have a solution-focused mindset combined with an analytical approach and problem-solving skills.
  • You can lead and contribute features from conception to deployment.
  • You prioritize how work fits into wider team progress, as well as solving immediate challenges.
  • You are comfortable working autonomously and taking independent decisions as well as having the ability to work cooperatively within a team.

Requirements:

  • You have experience using web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and JavaScript-based libraries.
  • You have experience with databases like NoSQL and SQL, as well as working with a range of other functional web frameworks such as Yii and Symfony.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
