Regional Sales Development Manager

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Development Manager to join our team in Yorkshire, covering the regions of BD, DN, HD, HG, HU, HX, LS, S, WF, YO, SK17, DE45, and LN7. As an industry leader in pitched roof systems, Marley Roofing Products is synonymous with innovation, sustainability, and quality.
The successful candidate will have the autonomy to develop new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships, balancing growth with Marley's long-standing reputation. This role offers a unique chance to drive growth with a market-leading brand, leveraging Marley's position as an industry leader.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a balance between growth and Marley's reputation.
- Specification Sales: Target and influence key specifiers and contractors to integrate Marley products into their projects, capitalizing on Marley's industry leadership.
- Account Management: Lead negotiations, develop custom business plans, and consistently meet regional sales targets.
- Project Pipeline: Proactively build and manage a robust pipeline, ensuring early pre-tender engagement to present Marley's compelling solutions.
- Planning & Forecasting: Attend regular meetings across the region and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts to support strategic planning and growth.
What We're Looking For:
- A commercial thinker with a sales flair and a passion for driving growth.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to achieve targets through planning, analysis, and strategic implementation.
- Strong organizational skills, with experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop value-added presentations.
- Experience in external sales, with exposure to specification or technical sales being a bonus.
