We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Support Specialist to join our team at an SEN School in Newham.

The successful candidate will work closely with children who require additional support due to their social background.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing academic support to students with ASD, PMLD, and Complex Needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop individualized education plans

To be eligible for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold a Right to Work in the UK
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide professional references

The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to work with children facing difficulties and possess experience working with individuals with complex needs.

The salary for this position is £30,000 - £45,000 per annum.
