We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Leader and Manager to join our team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work-life balance.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills, working closely with our experienced nursing team to provide exceptional care to patients on Ward 12, a 38-bedded mixed-sex Older Persons Medical ward.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient experience and reduce length of stay
  • Promote a culture of openness, transparency, and continuous learning, encouraging staff to share ideas and approaches to enhance patient care

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current professional registration
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and relevant post-registration clinical qualifications
  • Ability to lead and work effectively within a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
