  • Set Clear Performance Expectations: Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure Technical Delivery: Ensure the technical delivery of projects, including the creation and review of Employers Requirements (ER's), tender information, and design documentation.
  • Steer and Guide External Consultants: Steer and guide external design consultants and contractors, taking a 'Trust but Verify' approach to ensure they deliver a design that meets the requirements of the Design Brief.
  • Apply a Commercial Approach: Apply a commercial approach in all aspects of the work, including design, engineering, and construction, to ensure the procurement of all items is conducted on the most cost-effective basis.

Requirements:

  • Excellent People Management Skills: Excellent people management skills, including the ability to motivate, build trust, and demonstrate a willingness to see others succeed.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of data centre construction and design, including BIM 360 Platform.
  • Commercial Awareness: Commercial awareness and the ability to apply a commercial approach to all aspects of the work.
