The Medical Education Lead - GP Training will play a pivotal role in improving the quality of trainee experience for general practice specialty trainees within secondary care specialties and foundation trainees on placement in primary care across NHS Highland.

This position requires collaboration with the Director of Medical Education (DME) and Associate DME team to develop and implement a programme of work that enhances the trainee experience.

The ideal candidate will be a fully registered medical practitioner with a keen interest in medical education and a proven ability to lead and manage programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a programme of work to improve the quality of trainee experience
  • Collaborate with the DME and Associate DME team to achieve programme objectives
  • Lead and manage the programme to ensure successful outcomes

Requirements:

  • Fully registered medical practitioner
  • Keen interest in medical education
  • Proven ability to lead and manage programmes
