Middlesbrough Teaching Role Overview

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a qualified teacher to fill the role of General Teacher/Cover Supervisor at a secondary school in Middlesbrough.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and provide cover supervision for absent teachers.

The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to the overall school community, assist with extracurricular activities, and participate in professional development opportunities.

  • Develop and deliver lesson plans to students, following the national curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Provide cover supervision for absent teachers, adhering to school policies
  • Assist with extracurricular activities and events
Key Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable but not essential
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching or cover supervision
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and work independently
  • Understanding of the national curriculum and effective classroom management techniques
Working Arrangements:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
