About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Head of Teaching and Learning to join our team at Middlesbrough College. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and implementation of teaching and learning initiatives across our apprenticeships provision.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in teaching and learning, with experience in developing and implementing innovative programs that drive student success.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

In addition to your salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive the strategic direction of teaching and learning initiatives across apprenticeships provision
  • Develop and implement innovative programs that drive student success
  • Work closely with internal teams to foster a culture of excellence in teaching and learning
  • Ensure alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Possession of quality assurance qualifications such as an IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) or equivalent
  • Recognised Leadership and/or Management qualification
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 and above (or equivalent)
