Overview

We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Making Space, a residential rehabilitation service in Standish, Wigan, Greater Manchester. As a Senior Support Worker, you will supervise and delegate tasks to a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring that values-based support is delivered to the highest standards to the people we support.

Responsibilities

You will be supporting adults with various mental health conditions on a person-centered basis, from following care plans to administering medication and assisting with daily living. You will also be responsible for supervising staff members and delegating responsibilities to ensure that values-based support is delivered to the highest standard.

Qualifications

As a Senior Support Worker, you will need to have previous Support Worker experience and a level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or Equivalent. You will also need to be good at paperwork and accuracy.
