Chief Allied Health Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and values-driven professional to lead our Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and therapists across North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and professional direction for AHP services across the Group.
- Develop and implement standards across the Group to support professional development and leadership, competence, capacity, and standards of conduct.
- Lead the development, succession planning, and clinical supervision for all healthcare professionals.
- Advise the Group Chief Nurse, Executive Directors, and the Board on AHP and psychological therapy matters.
- Set the AHP strategy and lead business development activities.
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are the area's largest employers, with a budget of circa £1 billion and over 15,000 staff who deliver acute, tertiary, and community health and care services across the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire, County Durham, and beyond.

Requirements- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Management/leadership qualification.
- Relevant professional qualification with current HCPC or General Osteopath Council (GOC) registration.
- Evidence of recent relevant professional development.
- Significant experience and evidence of creative strategic thinking.
- Recent evidence and experience of strong leadership with the ability to transform and lead a team to work deliver to the highest standards.
- Experience of translating strategic goals into effective operational plans, objectives, targets, and measures.
- Proven experience of building relationships and working in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Substantial and relevant senior management experience in a key healthcare professional role in a complex multisite organisation.
