Role Overview

Severn Trent seeks a skilled Waste Network Specialist to join their Waste Customer Networks team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving various issues and providing exceptional customer service in the Staffordshire region.

This role involves working in a two-person team, using a range of equipment, including vacuum, jetting, and blockage clearing equipment. The successful candidate will also be required to work in confined spaces, at heights, and operate vehicles in compliance with road transport legislation and Severn Trent policies.

The ideal candidate will possess a standard license, a passion for quality work, and excellent organisation skills. They will also be able to build strong relationships with customers and demonstrate self-motivation, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems to maintain, diagnose, and determine the most appropriate solution.
  • Liaise with other departments, including the control centre, operations, and maintenance.
  • Work within confined spaces and at heights.
  • Operate vehicles in compliance with road transport legislation and Severn Trent policies.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
